What you'll do
On our Secret Food Tour: Paris - Montmartre, you will discover the true spirit of this breathtaking neighbourhood. When Parisians buy food, they head to high-end boutiques to select the best ingredients for their meals. We’ll do the same, tasting exquisite samples of food along the way.
Your local guide will share the history behind the gastronomy, the area, and the local shops, as they purchase the best cheeses, fine wines, delicious cured meats, as well as mouthwatering crêpes and fresh pastries. And of course our Secret Dish! We'll finish our route at a secret location to enjoy our meal like the locals.
Quality drinks will be served at some stops, however if you would like more, a thoughtfully curated Upgraded Drink Package is available.
Itinerary
Our first stop is an artisanal shop, where you'll see and taste some of the best chocolates and macarons in the city.
Next, you’ll enjoy a freshly made crêpe and learn about the difference between a crêpe and a galette.
We'll then stop in a boulangerie where you'll sample classic French breads and learn everything about them.
You'll savour cheeses from the best cheese shop in the area.
We'll visit a local butcher where you'll enjoy the finest cured sausages and hams.
Lastly, at our secret location, you'll feast on all the food we've bought along the way, all perfectly paired with the French wines.
As with all our tours, there's also a delicious Secret Dish.

The experienced guide will walk you through the gardens that inspired the genius, which have been reconstructed to their original state. Marvel at the beauty of the water lily pond and the breath taking Japanese bridge, made famous by Monet’s 1899 masterpiece, Bridge over a Pond of Water. Breathe in the sweet-scented air in the colourful, vibrant garden before visiting Claude Monet’s house and studio. Your driver-guide will also provide you with the entrance ticket to the new ''Musée des Impressionnismes Giverny'' which celebrates and is committed to sustaining the work of Impressionist artists in the Giverny area.
Pause for lunch, which is included in the price of your ticket. The picturesque old watermill restaurant, Moulin de Fourges serves a mouthwatering set menu in a stunning setting.

This is followed by a pleasant drive through the countryside of the Seine valley en route to Versailles.
In the afternoon, explore the Palace and Gardens of Versailles. Covering more than 721,000 square feet, the Palace has over 700 rooms. Follow your guide to the front of the line to see the most impressive rooms: the King's Apartments, with seven salons each dedicated to a different god, and the Queen's Apartments. Also visit the majestic Hall of Mirrors, a reception room in which to see and be seen, dreamt up by the famous architect, Jules Hardouin-Mansart. Almost 240 feet-long, it was designed to astonish visitors of the Sun King Louis XIV; it is lit by 17 windows and 350 mirrors, and overlooks the palace's splendid gardens, the second part of your visit. Enjoy your free time to visit the Gardens of Versailles and marvel at its many works of art, fountains, ponds, flower beds and groves of trees. Return to Paris scheduled for around 6:00 pm.

• Flat shoes are strongly recommended (Versailles has parquet floors in its rooms and cobblestones in its courtyard)
• Depending on the option chosen (private visit), the visit of the gardens at Versailles will not be guided
• Strollers are not permitted inside the palace
• Priority access is subject to the Versailles Palace procedures: The Vigipirate plan, the security control or an unforeseen crowd can slow down the entrance

Cross the western districts of Paris to the Porte d'Auteuil and then journey as far as Saint Laurent Sur Mer its American Cemetery and Omaha Beach, one of the 5 where the Normandy landings actually took place.
Continue with a visit to Arromanches where you'll have free time for lunch and visit the 360 Museum, the artificial harbour built by the Allies in less than 15 days. Continue on to the Canadian Memorial of Juno Beach, one of the other beaches where the assault took place and the location of the remains of the Atlantic Wall.
